Privacy Policy
In short: milkbiotic.com does not use forms or accounts, and we never sell data. With your consent, given through the cookie banner, we use PostHog (EU-hosted) to understand how visitors use the Site — you can decline it at any time. The only other third-party service is Google Maps on our Contacts page.
This Privacy Policy explains how VOMOND Private Enterprise, trading as MilkBiotic (“MilkBiotic,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), handles information in connection with your visit to milkbiotic.com (the “Site”). By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Who We Are
The Site is operated by Private Enterprise “VOMOND,” a company registered in Ukraine (USR/EDRPOU code: 22176113), address 23 Pavlyka St., Kalush, Ivano-Frankivsk Region, Ukraine, 77300. For the purposes of applicable data protection law, VOMOND is the data controller for information processed through the Site. Full contact details are available on our Contacts page.
2. Information We Collect
The Site does not require registration and contains no forms, so we do not knowingly collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or similar personal data directly from you. Two limited exceptions apply:
- Information you send us. If you email us at milkbiotic@gmail.com, we receive your email address and whatever content you choose to include in that message.
- Technical data collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure automatically logs standard technical information for every request, such as IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and timestamps. This is used solely for security, abuse prevention, and keeping the Site running reliably, and is not linked to an identified individual.
- Analytics data (only with your consent). If you accept cookies through the banner shown on the Site, we use PostHog to understand how visitors use the Site — see Section 3 for what that involves and how to decline it.
3. Cookies and Analytics
The Site always uses strictly necessary technical storage, such as remembering your selected language and your cookie choice, which does not require consent.
With your consent, given through the cookie banner shown on your first visit, we use PostHog (EU Cloud, posthog.com) as our analytics provider to understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it. When enabled, PostHog may:
- set cookies or local storage to recognize your browser across visits;
- record page views, clicks, and general interaction patterns (autocapture);
- create anonymized session recordings (screen replay), with all form inputs masked;
- generate aggregate heatmaps of where visitors click and scroll; and
- estimate your general location from your IP address.
You can decline analytics at any time by clicking “Decline” on the cookie banner, or change your mind later by clearing your browser’s local storage for this Site and reloading the page. If you decline, no analytics script is loaded and no analytics data is collected.
Separately, our Google Maps widget on the Contacts page may set its own cookies once loaded, governed by Google’s own privacy policy — see Google’s Privacy Policy.
4. How We Use Information
Any information described in Section 2 is used only to: operate, secure, and maintain the Site; understand and improve how the Site is used, where you have consented to analytics; respond to inquiries you send us; and prevent fraud, abuse, or technical issues. We do not use your information for advertising or automated decision-making, and we do not sell or rent personal data to any third party.
5. Legal Basis for Processing
Where the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or similar law applies, our legal basis for processing is: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) for technical/security logs and for responding to inquiries, and consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) for analytics cookies via PostHog. You can withdraw analytics consent at any time using the cookie banner controls described in Section 3.
6. Data Retention
Server logs are retained only as long as necessary for security and operational purposes, after which they are automatically deleted or anonymized. Emails you send us are kept only as long as needed to handle your inquiry, unless a longer period is required by law.
7. Data Security
We rely on reputable hosting infrastructure with industry-standard technical and organizational safeguards (encrypted transport via HTTPS, access controls, and regular platform security updates) to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction of data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps appropriate to the limited data we handle.
8. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to: request confirmation of whether we hold data about you; request access to, correction of, or deletion of that data; object to or restrict certain processing; and request portability of data you provided to us. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 12. To withdraw analytics consent specifically, use the cookie banner controls described in Section 3 — no need to contact us. If you are in the EEA/UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
9. International Data Transfers
MilkBiotic is based in Ukraine. Our analytics provider, PostHog, processes data on its EU Cloud infrastructure, keeping analytics data within the European Economic Area. If another third-party service we embed (such as Google Maps) transfers data outside your country, that transfer is governed by the third party’s own safeguards and privacy policy, not by MilkBiotic directly.
10. Children’s Privacy
The Site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date, and material changes will be highlighted where appropriate.
